We have tried this on both a Vista and Windows 7 64bit system. Any ideas on how to get around this error?

To get this working on the 64bit platform all I did was download the latest CRM4 SDK from Microsoft, once downaloaded and installed/extracted the SDK in the install path <root>\sdk\bin\64bit you should find the 64bit builds of the SDK dll's. Just copy these into the bulkdataexport application folder overwriting the existing ones and the application should work.
